Hi I’m so sorry for not posting for a few weeks, I had finals. If you follow this journal you’re also gonna hate me even more because tomorrow I’ll be gone for two more weeks in ITALY!! YAY PASTA!! The last white rhino He will eat not knowing why 
he is the last .
Was it greed 
indifference and progress 
superstition that the keratin 
in my horn could solve all manner 
of ailments ?
An aphrodisiac 
of magical proportions 
matched only by hopes 
of the impotent 
and now impotent
as the guns of his 
armed protectors only 
buying a little time 
against poverty of poachers 
quackary and greed ,
just another waiting to join 
the ranks of the thylacine 
and dodo .
Far away in the future 
there will be another species 
and only one will be left 
 - hungry and aware .
